Welcome back to Kingdom Come with me, Andrew Nkoyoyo. We are continuing, with Part 11 in the series on the Holy Spirit, and today’s message is specifically on the works of the Holy Spirit. This is the first part of several parts as we break down the works of the Holy Spirit.
In the last several episodes, we have been talking about the names and titles. Now we are going to go back on those names and titles, and really look at how they relate to the Holy Spirit and His work.
How we can begin to connect with Him in the application, reaching out and accessing, because we want to experience what the Holy Spirit does. Again, the Bible says it’s “not by might, not by power but it is by My Spirit.”In this way, God has given us the blueprint and the impossibilities.
How to really move mountains is by the Spirit. It doesn’t really matter then, whatever we are going through or where we are or what kind of need, we have, because we have broken down all these names and titles of the Holy Spirit as we relate to His nature, His character, His person, and His work.
Now, we want to really affirm you and help you have the confidence to reach out to the Holy Spirit based on His names, His titles, and on His work. Amen.
Let’s read Acts 19:1-2, “While Apollo was at Corinth, Paul took the road through the interior and arrived at Ephesus. There he found some disciples and asked them, “Did you receive the Holy Spirit when you believed?” And they said, “No, we did not. We have not even heard that there is a Holy Spirit.”
Dear friend, this is the reason why we are doing this series in depth There are far too many people in the church who have never heard of the Holy Spirit. Although many have heard of Him, all they know about the Holy Spirit is that He is the third person of the Trinity, and when you are baptized in the Holy Spirit you soon are talking in tongues and praying in tongues, in as a prayer language.
And that’s it. Yet there is a lot more, so much more to know about the Holy Spirit. Today we want to talk about the work of the Holy Spirit. I wanted us to really begin at the beginning.
The Holy Spirit is the efficient cause of all eternal and external divine operations for God works by the Spirit.
I want you to put that in your spirit. He’s the efficient cause and manifestor, if you will, of all internal and external divine operations. This means if we are going to see any external and internal divine operations, it is all by the Spirit.
We must settle this right off the bat, everything is done by the Spirit. God works by the Holy Spirit. Let’s begin with regeneration at salvation.
The Holy Spirit is the author of our regeneration and works out our regeneration.
Let’s read a few verses. Titus 3:4-6 “But when God our Savior revealed His kindness and love, He saved us. Not because of the righteous things we had done but because of His mercy. He washed away our sins giving us new life or new birth in the Holy Spirit. And by the renewal of the Holy Spirit, whom he poured out on us generously through Jesus Christ, our Lord.”
Spirit of Renewal or Regeneration
Did you hear that dear friend? God worked our regeneration, not because of what we have done, but because of His mercy through the washing of regeneration. The NIV says rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit. That’s the first work of the Holy Spirit. He is the Spirit of Renewal, the Spirit of Regeneration.
But what does that mean? Let’s first read Titus 3:5, “Not by works of righteousness, which we have done, but according to His mercy, He saved us through the washing of regeneration and the renewing of the Holy Spirit.”
How are we saved by the washing of regeneration and the renewing of the Holy Spirit? Renewing, washing, and regeneration go together. The next point is about life. It’s about giving new life. He’s regenerating. That’s why we Christians are called the Born Again because we are regenerated. We are born again by the Spirit.
John 3:3-6 “Jesus replies, “Very truly, I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again.” (They are regenerated.) “How can someone be born when they are old?” Nicodemus asked, “Surely, they cannot enter a second time into their mother’s womb to be born?” Jesus answered, “Very truly, very truly, I tell you, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless they are born of water and of spirit.”
After Holy Spirit convicts us of sin, of judgment, and of our unrighteousness. He opens our eyes, and then he moves us to the second stage of being born again, of bringing us into rebirth, regeneration, and renewal. And He says,” Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the spirit gives birth to spirit.”
John chapter 1:13, “Children born not of natural dissent nor human decision, or the husband’s will, but born of God.”
In verse 12, it says that those who are born of God are the children of God. He talks about those who are born of the Spirit. The first work of the Holy Spirit is regeneration. I want to make this a little bit practical for you. We have been talking about all the things about the Holy Spirit, but how do we begin to connect even as we pray for unsaved loved ones?
How To Activate The Work of The Spirit of Regeneration
You can ask the Spirit of Regeneration, praying to Him to regenerate their lives. It’s the spirit that is going to regenerate. They are regenerated by the spirit and by the renewing of the Spirit. He brings them into that experience.
Reach out to the Spirit, as you speak and pray, gain confidence or as 1 John 5:14 tells us that “this is the confidence we have that when we pray in His will, He hears us. If He hears us, we will have what you ask.”
Do not allow the flesh or the enemy to deceive you thinking you are “cheating” on Jesus by going through Holy Spirit. Get to know Holy Spirit and get used to speaking to Him. A friend once said, “but if I talk more to the Holy Spirit, then I’m talking less to Jesus.”
That is wrong thinking. They work together all the time. When talking about salvation, regeneration is needed. Why not turn to the Spirit of Regeneration to do that work? I’m asking the Spirit of Renewal to touch hearts to convict people. Do you see my point?
Ask the Spirit of regeneration to touch people, to convict people, to regenerate people. Many times, I have seen people running to the pulpit. Why? Because the Spirit of regeneration has already gone over and prepared their hearts. He’s been convicting, he’s been preparing those hearts for regeneration.
He’s bringing them into the renewal. Sometimes all they need is the opportunity because the Holy Spirit has already been working, but He has had somebody praying. As you are praying for your community, your church, the world, or whoever you are praying for, connect with the Spirit as the One, the Spirit of Regeneration, and the Spirit of Renewal.
The Holy Spirit is The Spirit of Revival or Renewal
We’re going to go deeper into the Spirit of Renewal. The second work that the Holy Spirit does, the Holy Spirit works, renews, revives, and quickens our lives. This is a big one. I mean, ministries have been built on revival. Books have been written on revival. TV programs, radio programs, you name it, missions, and people have died for revival.
Renewal is by the Spirit, is by the Holy Spirit. If we desire, the renewal we are talking about here goes beyond spiritual renewal. It is the renewing of our lives. The renewing of our culture, and our society is by the spirit.
For many years I labored for revival in Uganda, in Europe, and now in America. I continue to do so. Yet understand that revival cannot happen without bringing people into the understanding of the Holy Spirit.
They need to realize that He’s the revivalist. While many may call meetings for revival and I have done that myself, I’m not a revivalist. I’m the instrument of revival. I’m a catalyst of revival. The true revivalist is the Holy Spirit because the Bible shows us that the renewal, the revival is of the Spirit.
Nobody has ever been regenerated without the Holy Spirit. Nobody ever experienced the kingdom of God and the life of God and the things of God without the renewing of the Spirit. In Uganda, we had a revival and transformation, but it wasn’t by the cleverness of man. It was only by the Spirit, birthed out of prayer, out of tears and weeping, and prayer and fasting.
Understand prayer and fasting do not change God. It changes you. Prayer brings us to the point of brokenness, repentance, and humility before a Holy God, to confess our sins, to remove all these iniquities, these abominations that were a hindrance to God.
When that happened, the Spirit of Holiness was working. And suddenly, because the place was clean, our hearts became clean, our communities, our churches, we wanted what God wanted. We desired what God desired. We didn’t have our own agendas.
Immediately the presence of God overwhelmed us and instantaneously we are having the renewal of the Spirit. Our preaching and teaching are no longer in good sermons or sermons with good stories. It was in the demonstration of the power of God that when the sick came, they returned home healed.
The lame walked; the blind got their sight. The deaf heard. The mute began talking. Communities were being transformed; marriages were being restored. Why did this happen? The revivalist was there. This is the blueprint for any community, any church, any person, and anyone that desires. Do this and the Spirit will come.
You must connect with the Holy Spirit as the revivalist.
Let’s revisit Titus 3:5, “Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost; Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Spirit
Now to revive, and renew means to give new life.
In America, we need new life. Europe needs new life. When I was in Europe, why was I there? I told them, “I’m here as a missionary. I’m only here to be a catalyst for revival.” All I want is to be a catalyst for revival. In other words, I’m saying I just want to equip people and to help the church and the communities to prepare for the Holy Spirit to move and for people that He can use to move because He doesn’t work in a vacuum. He works through people so that He can bring new life.
Ephesians 2:1, Paul writes, “as for you, you are dead in your transgressions and sin. Verse five tells us that He made us alive with Christ, even when we were dead in our transgressions. It is by grace; you have been saved through faith.”
Again, He is bringing us out of this dead life. Who brings us? It’s the Holy Spirit.
The revival is of the Spirit.
John 6:63 “The spirit gives life, spiritual life, but also life abundantly in our spirit, soul, body in every other aspect and every other area of life. The spirit gives life. The flesh counts for nothing. The words I have spoken to you- they are full of Spirit and life.”
Dear Friend when we begin to be full of the Spirit, the words we are going to speak, are going to be full of Spirit. like Jesus. He says, “The words I speak, they are full of the Spirit and they’re full of life.”
John 3:8, “The wind blows wherever it pleases, you hear it sounds, but you cannot tell where it comes from or where it’s going so it is with everyone born of the spirit.”
Being born of the Spirit makes you unpredictable. There is no formula dictating how God will move in your life. He uses different methods with different people. There is not just one method or one way.
Look in the Bible. The wind is always blowing somewhere because you can see the effects, but you don’t know where it is or where it is going, but you can see the effects of the wind. In the same way, are the people who are born of the Spirit and led by the Spirit.
How To Activate The Work of The Spirit of Revival or Renewal
He is the revivalist but what we do with the information He gives us is important. To put it together, you need to address, and connect with the Holy Spirit as the revivalist you need. Instead of crying out, “Oh my goodness, my Christian life is dying.” Tell the Holy Spirit,” Revive me, revive me, quicken me Holy Spirit. The power of God comes alive.
Do you understand what I am saying? You are not crying in a vacuum. God hasn’t left you to yourself. You say,” Holy Spirit, REVIVE!” Do you need revival right now? Raise your hand. My God, the anointing is so strong. And he told me, “When it gets to this when I’m overwhelmed, to release the anointing to you.”
You who are watching or listening. You need revival in your spirit, in your soul, in your body. Some of you need healing right now. He’s going to give life to your nervous system.
Words of knowledge
Someone watching He is going to give life to your lymph nodes with blood cancer. Somebody watching He is going to give your life to your eyeballs. Bring life into your eyes. “Glory to God!
Prayers of Healing The Sick and Miracles
Ask him, “Holy Spirit, you are the Spirit of Revival who gives life. Give me your life. Somebody right now in your right leg, you struggle walking. Ask the Spirit of Life to give life to those muscles right now, in the name of Jesus.
I release the manifestation and the demonstration of the Spirit of Life, of revival healing right now in the name of Jesus. I bind every spirit of calamity, infirmity, sickness, and disease in the name of Jesus, I bind you and render you powerless by the Spirit of Life, the spirit of revival.
I release revival life by the spirit, into your heart, into your mind, your body, your nervous system, your lymphatic system, your legs, your tissues, your tendons, your glands, and every system in your body right now in Jesus’ name. Receiving the spirit of life right now is at work manifesting life.
Manifesting wholeness is quickening you. Somebody, get off that couch right now in the name of Jesus! Get up and throw down those crutches! Get up in Jesus’ name! I can see you. The Spirit of Life. This is how you do it.
This is how you engage and receive. If there’s no mystery, there’s no method. There’s no formula. It is just about doing it. Believing that He is, and He will do it right now. He’s quickening, He’s quickening you.
Someone has lost their taste buds. The Spirit of Life is releasing new life into your tongue. Your palate and your taste buds are coming back in the name of Jesus. Your ears pop open in the name of Jesus receive, just receive. There is an anointing for healing creative miracles right now.
Just receive the work of the spirit, dear friend. This is how you do it. You talk to Him, and you access his work of revival. You access His work of life, new life, and He’s going to be right there to touch you, to heal, to deliver, to quicken you, to awaken you, to refresh you. This is what He does in Jesus’ name.
Oh, my Holy Spirit. Go through this. He told me that He was going to overwhelm me with His presence. Are you feeling this process? Just receive, just receive in Jesus’ name.
The Spirit of the Lord
The Holy Spirit anoints us with the power of His anointing.
Isaiah 61:1, “The Spirit of the Lord is upon me because the Lord has anointed me. He has sent me to heal the broken hearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, the opening of the prison to those who are bound.”
Do you see the connection? It is the Lord, the Spirit of the Lord. When He comes upon you, He’s the one who anoints you to preach the good news to the poor. It is the Spirit of the Lord.
Luke 4:18-19 LB, “The Spirit of the Lord is upon me.” This is what Jesus said, “He has an appointed me to preach good news to the poor. Heal the broken hearted to announce that captives shall be released, and the blind shall see that the downtrodden shall be freed from their oppressors.”
God is ready to give blessing to all who come to him, who anointed Him? The Spirit of the Lord. We have talked about this title, the Spirit of the Lord. It is the Spirit of the Lord who anoints you.
When you need anointing, you need to know the Spirit of the Lord. You need to talk to the Holy Spirit and address Him as the Spirit of the Lord. Ask him to anoint you, to touch you, to empower you.
John 3:33-34 LB “Anyone who accepts His testimony can affirm that God is true. 34 For He is sent by God. He speaks God’s words, for God gives him the Spirit without limit.”
Now, he was talking about Jesus, but the same Spirit of the Lord that anointed Jesus is the same Spirit that anoints you and me. Will you connect with Him again? Let me show you how you do it. I’m already soaked in the anointing
How To Activate The Work of The Spirit of The Lord
Oh my God, I pray that you feel this anointing and you are receiving it as you watch, read, and as you listen. It is just as heavy anointing on me right now.
What I show you is, this is simple. As you are praying, as you are in God’s presence, ask the Spirit of the Lord that title Jesus tells us, the Spirit of the Lord is upon Him because He has anointed him. It was the function, the operation, the ministry of the Holy Spirit, as the Spirit of the Lord for the anointing.
He anointed Him to do the work. Do you want to be anointed? You need to address and connect with the Holy Spirit as the Spirit of the Lord and ask Him. Spirit of the Lord, anoint me to do the will of God. Anoint me to heal the sick. Anoint me to do what He has called me to do.
Whatever it is, ask the Spirit of the Lord and the Spirit of the Lord is going to give you the anointing that you need, not the anointing that I need, the anointing you need for what God has called you to do. The Spirit of the Lord Jesus gave us a model. He showed us who anointed him and how he came into it.
There’s no mystery. Yes, Jesus was the son of God, but his ministry began only after the Spirit of the Lord anointed him. The Bible says that the Holy Spirit descended on Him as He dove, and He was baptized. His ministry began after that. It was after the anointing has come upon Him, and the anointing was by the Spirit of the Lord.
That’s how you do it. There’s no mystery. But the key is you must believe in the Holy Spirit, the titles, the names that I’ve shown you, and the work that is connected to those names. And if you do, you are going to experience.
I’m overcome here in the anointing by the anointing because I do believe. I know it and I believe it. That’s my goal in this teaching, to help you to know it so you can believe it and begin to access it as part of your everyday life. That’s how you receive the power by the Spirit of the Lord.
Comforter
Another work is the Holy Spirit as our comforter. He helps, gives us, counsels us, and is our advocate. The comforter in Greek is “paraclete” which means “called alongside”. Here, Jesus was saying the Holy Spirit supplies the bodily absence of Jesus.
I want you to put that in your Spirit. What Jesus was to the disciples in the body, the Holy Spirit is to us. He supplies the bodily absence of Christ to us. And He brings him into our time and space and reality, and it makes Him real to us.
John 14:16 “and I pray the Father and He will give you another Comforter that He may abide with you forever.”
How To Activate the Work of The Holy Spirit – The Comforter
This comforter is our counselor, our helper, and our advocate. As you are going through things, as you’re going through life, you can ask the Holy Spirit, address him as a comforter, address him as a counselor, as a helper. Just say, “Holy Spirit, you are my helper. Holy Spirit, my comforter, comfort me.” Dear friend, how I have known His comfort, how I have known His help, how I have known his counsel.
You can know His help. You can know His comfort. You can know His counsel, say, “Holy Spirit, my Comforter, come alongside me. Walk alongside me. Help me.” And at that moment, you have reached out into the divine. At that point, you have reached into the divine possibilities that God has, and then rest in God, rest, and know that the Comforter is with you.
Rest and wait for His whisper, wait for His guidance, wait for his peace. And then you are going to know that he’s not only there, but He’s helping you. He’s walking alongside you.
Don’t go through life with frustration, depression, or anxiety, whether you’re seeking a result, whether you’re seeking an answer from God, whether you’re seeking direction. Counsel, the one to reach to is the Holy Spirit, the comforter. That title is there for us to know that he will be there to comfort us. He’s there to walk alongside us.
He’s there to guide us, to lead us. He’s, our advocate. He’s going to plead our case, whether it’s in prayer, whether he’s in real life, He’s going to help you. I know this from experience, he’s going to help you, but you must reach out to him.
You need to connect with him and acknowledge Him and the moment you do, you’re going to find out that the divine omnipotence of God is at your disposal. It doesn’t mean that things are going to be easy, but it means that He’s going to take you one step at a time, and each step is going to be a miracle. And in the end, you’re going to have a testimony.
This is the comforter. Will you reach out to your comforter before you call anybody else? Before you reach out to all kinds of advice and advisors, would you reach out to the one that Jesus said, “He will comfort you and He will be with you and He will abide with you forever?
His comfort is there. I know many times I’ve been in cities when I got lost and the Comforter was there walking me back home. One day when I was really lost was in Nairobi, Kenya. I did a lunch hour meeting in the city with business and political leaders. I told the gentleman who was supposed to drive me home, “Do not worry. I’ll get a taxi.”
Yet I didn’t even know where to find a taxi. I didn’t speak any Swahili. I’m trying to figure out, where to go. I’m asking people, and it’s like some people couldn’t understand me. They gave me the wrong direction. I got far away from where I was supposed to go. Yet I remember the Holy Spirit led me through turns, twists, and turns in corners and led me to where the taxi park so I could find a taxi.
I was not closing my eyes. This is just real life. But the thing is, once you begin to connect with the Holy Spirit and He becomes your best friend. You’re going to find that hearing His voice, hearing Him becomes second nature to you. You have trained your powers of discernment. You don’t have to be in prayer to hear God.
I know it might be shocking, but I’ll tell you, I was in Romania, we were at Starbucks in one of the malls. I was having coffee with one of the leaders of the tent revival meetings. He wanted me to come to the tent meetings. He brought brochures revealing the huge tent meetings that they had been having that week. When he invited me to come, Holy Spirit said, “No, not right now.”
As this leader was talking, the Holy Spirit said, “no, not now, not yet.” When this man of God asked, I said, “The Holy Spirit is telling me, not now.” Although he was insistent and encouraged me to pray about it, I told him that I don’t need to pray about it. The Holy Spirit is telling me, not right now, I’ll come, but not right now.
He didn’t want to take no for answer. He tried to entice me with the sheer volume of thousands of people in attendance, but I stood firm saying, “I would love to, but the Holy Spirit is telling me, not right now.” The man of God found it hard, and I wanted to soften the blow and agreed to pray. Yet a few days later, the answer was still the same. I called him a few days later and I said, “The Holy Spirit said, “No, not now.”
Realize from this example Holy Spirit will talk to you in many circumstances and you do not have to go to the prayer closet to hear Him. When you build a relationship with Him, you hear Him, wherever you are. You see, we have been trained that you must first go pray in the little prayer closet. That is not necessary.
When you get to know the Comforter, the one who is there with you, and you begin to build a relationship with Him. You listen to and for Him and He listens to you. And it doesn’t matter where you are. I was in Starbucks in a huge mall, and the Holy Spirit was talking. And I was prophesying to people across the table like I’m in service. As I prophesied, people would ask me, how did you know about that?
I would tell them, “I do not know but the Holy Ghost knows. This is what the Holy Spirit is telling me.” It is simple, but it begins with developing that relationship. This is something anybody can do.
You do not need a theology degree to be able to hear God’s voice. We have made it a huge mystery. It is not, but it takes time. It takes time. It begins with a lifestyle of doing it day in and day out. Even when you inquire and, and you think you don’t hear, keep doing it.
Get familiar with the Comforter. You, need to get comfortable with talking to the Holy Spirit because He’s right there. You don’t feel Him but at some point, His presence becomes so thick that many times I can tell you that He would wake me up to go pray.
It is just like someone is shaking me, or He will be like someone touching me, touching my shoulder and I’m turning around and there’s nobody, and then I know it’s Him. I ask, “What is it? Holy Spirit, is there something that you have that you want me to know, you want me to hear?”
And He will speak. While this may sound weird today, it would be totally normal back in Jesus’ day or Paul’s day. This is how the Spirit life is. That’s why the Bible says that one who’s born of the Spirit is like the wind. You don’t know where it’s going, but you can see, you can feel it, you can see its effects, but you don’t know the source, but you can see the effects.
Are you born of the Spirit? Yes, you are. You are born of the spirit. Allow yourself to go on this fun-filled adventure with God and just have awesome times and awesome experiences. I can teach you all these things because I’ve had all these things, these experiences, it’s not something for me to brag about. It’s just something that God has allowed me to experience.
Now I get to share with you and equip you and help you. Because I know when I started out, wondered about my mentors. Are these people praying and fasting for 20 hours? I mean, they must be extremely special people. I found out that this supernatural lifestyle is available for all who believe.
I talk about it in our School of the Anointing. Basically, my mentors just knew the Holy Spirit better than I did. In the School of the Anointing, that is exactly what I teach you. Within a few years, I was on the same platforms as the people that I admired, preaching with them because God had promoted me. I was faithful and God promoted me. It’s not something that is unattainable.
It does not matter if you are a businessman, a homemaker, a plumber, or whatever you do. It doesn’t matter who you are. It just matters if you believe in Christ. You can have a supernatural life. God says, “The Holy Spirit is for all. And He’s going to apply himself according to your calling.”
He is the Spirit of the Lord. When you talk to the Spirit of the Lord and ask Him to anoint you, He’s going to anoint you according to the calling that He has for you. It has nothing to do with the calling of your pastor, the preacher, or the people you want to be like. No, just be yourself and let the Spirit of the Lord anoint you according to the grace that God has given you. Amen.
The Holy Spirit reveals God’s truth to us.
Remember we talked about earlier in the last episode, we talked about the title, the Spirit of Truth. Well, the Spirit of truth reveals the truth and teaches us the truth.
John 14:17 “The Spirit of Truth, the world cannot accept Him because it neither sees Him nor knows Him, but you know Him, for He lives with you and will be in you.”John 16:13, “But when the spirit of truth comes, He’ll guide you into all truth.”
Do you want to know the truth? You want to know Jesus, who is the truth and life? Do you really want to know him and make him known? You need to know the spirit of truth. You need to know the Spirit of Truth because He’s going to teach you and guide you into all truth, the truth of the Bible, the truth about your calling, your destiny about all things.
He’s going to guide you into all the truth. He will not speak on his own. He will speak only what He hears, and He will tell you what is to come again.
1 Corinthians 2:10-11 “These are the things God has revealed to us by the Spirit. The Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God for who knows a person’s thoughts, except their own spirit within them? In the same way no one knows the thoughts of God, except the Spirit of God”
How To Activate The Work of The Spirit of Truth
The Spirit of truth. He reveals the truth, teaches you the truth, and guides you in the truth. How do you get to access this truth? Just surrender yourself to the Holy Spirit and address him by the title Spirit of truth. Then just ask Him about the subject and He will teach you.
Would you please reveal to me in God’s word, the truth about tithing? The truth about giving? The truth about prayer? about healing? Whatever you are struggling with, ask the Spirit of Truth and you’re going to find He’s going to lead you.
He may lead you to books. He may lead you to teachings. He may lead you to others. But He’s going to teach you, He’s going to equip you. That’s how He does it. But you must address him. You need to connect to Him by the Spirit of Truth, by his title, and by His name. The Holy Spirit is our teacher. He’s, our professor. He is our schoolmaster.
1 John 2:20 (TLB) “But you are not like that for the Holy Spirit has come upon you and you know the truth.”
Let that sink in. Read the whole chapter to get context. But he says you’re not like that. Prior to that verse, John was talking about those who have gone astray or those being deceived or have fallen away but he says that you are not like that. The Holy Spirit has come upon you.
And you know the truth. How do you know the truth? You know the Spirit of Truth. You know the truth because you know the Truth Giver. The Truth Teacher is in you and with you and abides with you.
1 John 2:27 LB “But you have received the Holy Spirit and He lives within you in your hearts so that you don’t need anyone to teach you what is right, The spirit of truth. He teaches you all things, (not some things, but He teaches you all things). He is the Truth, and no liar; and so just as He has said, you must live in Christ, never to depart from Him.”
He’s the truth. The truth is not only what He does but His nature is truth. The Spirit of Truth lives in you. He has become your professor. He’s become your schoolmaster. He’s become your teacher. You have looked at him.
In my book, Catch and Release the Supernatural of God, I share the revelation of the blood of Jesus when I was away fasting and praying in the middle of nowhere by myself in a little room. I heard the audible voice of God asking me about the blood, who was talking to me. It was Holy Spirit.
It was the Holy Spirit, Chapter 4 The Greatest Key, the master key of all the blood of Jesus Christ. I share how to use it. How did I come to that understanding? That revelation will change my whole life and ministry and bless multitudes of people around the world. It was the Holy Spirit. When he asked me, “Andrew, do you know what the devil fears the most?
And I know I have asked that question to many other Bible scholars and they couldn’t tell me, or give me the right answer. That day, in that little room, in the middle of nowhere, fasting and praying, the Holy Spirit began to teach me. Now let’s back here for a second. I was there fasting and praying, and I’m on my face thinking I’m going to be praying and pressing in but all I needed was to learn.
I am on my face and the Holy Spirit calls out. “Do you know that?” I think that was the first time I heard the audible voice of God. Three times I heard the voice and three times I looked around and there was nobody. And it’s like, who is talking to me?
Then I remembered that same example of Eli and Samuel in the Bible. I was prepared when he called again. I would respond, “Speak Lord, your servant is listening.” I said, “Speak Lord, your servant is listening.”
Immediately the Holy Spirit began to talk to me. He asked me, “Do you know what the devil fears the most?” I didn’t know what the devil feared the most, but he began to teach me. And then he taught me about the blood of Jesus Christ. And from that day when I went to that crusade where there were witches and warlocks that were assigned to kill me, but they could not. All I did was sing the blood of Jesus.
We had the worship team sing, “The blood of Jesus.” I remember I shared the story in here, the blood of Jesus, and I said, “The power of God is right where you are.” The satanist who was coming to kill me was thrown into the air like one of those sci-fi movies. I could see him, he was thrown all the way in the back and he was out cold.
He didn’t get hurt or anything like that, but the power of God overcame him through the blood of Jesus. The devil fears the blood more than he fears anything else. The Word, the Holy Spirit, prayer, and the name of Jesus, work because of the blood of Jesus. “Oh, how I love the blood. “But who brought me into that understanding, that revelation of the blood was the Holy Spirit.
And he took me into the scripture and showed me from beginning to end the power of the blood of Jesus. And He showed me that if I can know the blood, I can know the power of God because the Spirit always answers the blood,” Oh Jesus Mighty God, Holy Spirit.” I’ve made it my passion, my ambition to always honor the blood of Jesus.
I spend hours at the feet of the Holy Spirit asking him to teach me, asking him to reveal his truth, asking him to uncover things that are, While I’ve missed all my mentors. I just ask him to teach me. He is teaching me, and He wants to teach you.
He taught me, one of the things was about the blood. And the other thing is the anointing, the Holy Spirit, the power of God and all the things that we desire is not a mystery dear friend, but you must know him as your schoolmaster. Is He your schoolmaster? Is He your professor?
I told you I have many mentors, and many wonderful, smart people in my life. But guess what? Most of the deep life-changing teachings that I’ve had have come from the Professor Himself, the greatest professor, the Holy Spirit. He wants to do the same for you. He’s your teacher. He says He will teach you all things. All things mean all things. Amen.
Prayer of revelation, knowledge, and understanding
I want to pray for you for the blood of Jesus to touch your eyes so you can begin to see. Jesus said that the world cannot see him, but you can. How do you see him? You see him with the eyes of your spirit as you begin to discern him and feel him and know him, and then you get to see his work.
Holy Spirit, thank you for being our teacher, our counselor, and the revealer of truth. Thank you for all that you are, our revivalist, our giver of life. We receive all that you are and have right now. I apply the blood of Jesus on every heart, every mind, and every eye of every viewer and every listener to wash the scales off their eyes.
Spirit of the Lord, anoint them right now. Anoint their eyes so that they may see into the invisible. Anoint their ears so they may hear your voice. Anoint their hearts so they may see you, perceive you, and feel you, and have the communion of the spirit with their spirit. Anoint their lives so that they may work in power, anointing in a greater measure in Jesus' mighty name.
Just receive this anointing. Receive new power. A spirit of truth, revelation, knowledge, understanding in the knowledge of God’s will, of God’s word, and purpose for your life right now in Jesus’ name. Yes. Just open yourself up and say, “Teacher, I’m ready to receive. I’m ready to learn. Teach me. Yes, teach me.” He’s touching you right now in Jesus, name.
Thank you, Lord. Thank you, Lord. Let him fill you with hope, clarity, wisdom, and revelation in the knowledge of His will for your life. In Jesus' mighty name. Hallelujah. Thank you, Lord.

I release the power of the Spirit of the Lord of the host to touch you from head to toe, for miraculous healing from cancer, whatever cancer it is in the name of Jesus, we bind you, break you, and render you powerless by the blood of Jesus. And we release the demonstration of the spirit of power and life in Jesus’ name, to manifest miraculous healing and recovery in Jesus’ mighty Name.

Is somebody wanting the baptism in the Holy Spirit right now? Yes. Oh, just open yourself up. I plead the blood of Jesus over you right now. Every blockage, every, every hindrance right now, in the name of Jesus, be removed right now by the blood of Jesus.
